Influencers are those people who publish so-called “content” (as content as text, image, video) on a topic at high and regular intervals and thus address other people. This primarily happens on social networks such as Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Facebook and Twitter. With their content, influencers attract a lot of attention and therefore a wide reach. If they have achieved this exclusively through their digital presence and thus influence other people (English: influence), they are referred to as influencers. In cooperation with companies, they can thus increase brand awareness through reach with product placements.
