What are analytics?

Analytics refers to the process of analyzing data to extract information that can be useful for companies and organizations to improve their performance. It involves using techniques such as data mining, machine learning, and statistics to collect, analyze, and interpret data.

What are sometimes referred to as the “eyes” of inbound marketing is analysis, i.e. the discovery and sharing of meaningful patterns in data. In the context of marketing, this means looking at data from your own initiatives (website visitor reports, social networks, PPC, etc.), analyzing the trends, and gaining actionable insights to make better-informed marketing decisions.
